PFC is dedicated to poverty alleviation through the development of the Chinese microfinance industry. About the Job:

About the Job:
PlaNet Finance China is seeking a six-month, full-time, compensated International Intern. S/he will assist with project related activities such as research, translations, and report writing.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Research Chinese microfinance news and stay current on global microfinance trends, draft proposals, lecture materials, and other ad hoc or strategic assignments;
- Drive, think through, and promote expansion of the microfinance robustness program beyond China;
- Translate various documents, including proposals, reports or news articles from Chinese to English;
- Write features for the microfinance risk management blog on a variety of topics including project updates, interviews, and industry trends;
- Provide administrative support as needed, such as workshop organization and project management assistance;
- Support in tasks related to microfinance advisory projects.
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Economics, or International Development is preferred;
- Strong Chinese skills and experience;
- Interest in microfinance and China’s development;
- Excellent organizational, communication, writing, proofreading, and research skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
