Job Description

Primary responsibilities:
  •     To deploy suitable market research tools to gauge market trends pertaining to corporate buying, gifting industry, competitor activities, consumer behavior etc., to gain the competitive edge. To transfer such understanding to derive demand forecast.
  •     To give inputs to National Manager (institution) regarding the following areas:-
  •         New product ideas regarding fresh products or enhancements in the current ones based on market trends.
  •         Product mix related suggestions based on competitor analysis and consumer buying patterns and preferences.
  •         Sales promotion for fresh products and sticky stock to be liquidated.
  •         Consumer behavior to aid demand forecast.
  •         Virgin market/ existing penetration.
  •         Competitor information regarding sales and strategies.
  •     Arrive at the category/ geography/ periodicity sales split for the year in tandem with or as cascade of the annual channel revenue plans. Share and get it approved by National Manager (institution).
  •         Monitor the sales figures on a weekly basis. Rejig the strategy real-time across category/ geography to combat / adjust usual/ unusual market influences. Agree the same with National Manager. To forecast requirements from the retailers on monthly basis.
  •     To be accountable for timely collections.
  •     To be responsible for customer/intermediary management (corporate/distributors).
  •         To address and resolve the issues of distributors; to sustain and enhance customer relationship.
  •      To participate in various forums or events of the gifting industry and canvass company’s brand & product.
  •     To be responsible for scrutinizing and authorization of purchase orders from corporate; the same to be passed on to respective areas for execution
  •     To generate statistical analysis reflecting the following and presenting the same to the channel head along with necessary recommendations.
  •         periodic sales figures

  •         alternate strategy
  •         market trends,
  •         market share metrics,
  •         competitor’s strategy
  •         issues and budget

    To ensure timely supply of goods to clients by regular follow up with the internal teams

Salary-4.25 lacs
