PROGRAM DIRECTOR CHINA M/W
2 year contract
Position: Full time position
Duty station: Xining (Qinghai province) with frequent field travels
Posting period: Two years renewable from November 15th 2013 to January 15th 2014
Remuneration: modest salary package will be negotiated commensurable with experience.
Upon completion of the probationary period, the candidate will be confirmed for a two-year contract, inclusive of the 6 months probationary period.
As program director, main intermediary between the field and headquarters, you will be responsible for the coordination and the management of Norlha operations in China.

- Coordinate and supervise field staff with the implementation of projects
- Strengthen staff and local partners capacities
- Contribute to the formulation of projects
- Ensure administrative and financial management
- Establish and develop all relationships with national, internationals organizations and local authorities
- Contribute to fundraising efforts
Skills required
- Advanced degree in project management, development studies, international cooperation
- Proven experience in hands-on project management, preferably in the Himalayas
- Strong interpersonal skills, tracked ability to develop efficient networks and to work independently
- Good writing and presentation skills, excellent organizational skills
- Good command of English and Chinese
