Ben Line Agencies, a market leading port and shipping agency, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations in Hong Kong and mainland China, as well as to support their rapidly expanding business in the region.
Key responsibilities
Key requirements
To succeed in this role, you must flexible and able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment. Other requirements include:
a bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or any related discipline with an accounting qualification
a minimum of five years' work experience in accounting or finance within a multinational environment; experience from Big 4 accounting firms would be advantageous
fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese is mandatory
rational, able to use self-initiative, be proactive and willing to work under demanding conditions

Key responsibilities
- As the Finance Manager, you will assist the Finance Director to develop and maintain country level accounting procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- ensuring all Group accounting tasks and financial statements are completed accurately and on a timely basis
- maintaining and controlling the management accounts, financial statements and all supporting audit schedules and cash-flow forecasts
- introducing measures to improve the accounting standards and controls for the greater China regional operations
