About Our Client
Our client is a rapidly growing German multinational with an increasing presence in Asia, operating in the sourcing industry. Over a sustained period of time their retail business has experienced continuous growth in Europe and the UK and as such a need has arisen to recruit an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join the team in Hong Kong.
Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing all finance and accounting related activities as well as administrative and logistics matters in the Greater China region. You will have a particular focus on reporting, internal controls as well as audit and tax compliance. In addition, you will coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process and be involved in ad hoc projects as directed. You will also work closely with the German headquarters for further business expansion in the near future. Travelling is required.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will hold a degree in Finance or Accounting and have a recognised accounting qualification. You will have a minimum 10 years of general accounting and finance experience and at least 5 years previous management experience from a multinational environment. Experience of working in a German corporation is also required. You will be an innovative self-starter with strong business acumen yet prepared to be “hands-on” as necessary to accomplish corporate objectives. As part of the senior management in the region, you will be a strong communicator and and effective leader and be fluent in German and English.
